faq

does the app actually delete my photos?

not until you say so. photos go into a trash pile first and you review everything before anything gets deleted. even then, deleted photos go to your recently deleted album so you have 30 days to change your mind.

does the app upload my photos anywhere?

nope. everything happens on your device. your photos never leave your phone. no servers, no cloud, no tracking.

can i sort videos too?

yep. toggle video mode in the options and swipe through your videos the same way.

i accidentally deleted something i wanted to keep

check your recently deleted album in the photos app. anything deleted through bye bye photo stays there for 30 days.

is there a subscription or in-app purchases?

no. it's a one-time thing. no ads, no subscriptions, no upsells.

privacy

bye bye photo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. all photo processing happens locally on your device. we don't use analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. we literally cannot see your photos.
